Reporting directly to the Director of Information Management and Technology, you’ll manage backend infrastructure and vendor relationships for public safety systems. This role involves strategic advising and budget management, ensuring compliance with law enforcement standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure availability of public safety systems including CAD

• Oversee 24/7 infrastructure resilience for police operations

• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate IT service level agreements

• Coordinate mobile communications and security systems

• Mentor IT staff and evaluate performance

Requirements:

• Seven years of progressive IT experience

• Minimum of five years in management of technical teams

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related

• Must obtain necessary police security clearance

• Six Sigma or similar certifications preferred
