The Senior Business Consultant (SBC)reports to the Director eHealth Services, Vendor Management Office (VMO).  VMO partners with business areas to develop business strategy and roadmaps for the procurement and on-going management of IM/IT services. The SBC will provide technical stewardship across a portfolio of vendors; provides portfolio management; and oversees IT projects and operations for services delivered under Alternative Service Delivery contracts, service agreements and statements of work.

The SBC will be responsible for holding the service providers accountable for technology currency, documentation currency, and design specifications in alignment with Ministry standards.

Job Requirements:
•    Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a related field and a minimum of 5 years related experience; OR,
•    An equivalent combination of education and related experience may be considered.

Related experience must include a combination of at least 3 of the following:
•    Experience providing business analysis for key systems with complex interactive business processes or stakeholders.
•    Experience of defining, articulating and writing business, technical, contractual and/or administrative requirements to meet the business needs.
•    Experience in vendor management including operations/service delivery, governance and issue resolution.
•    Experience of working with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders including executives.

Preference may be given to applicants with the following:
•    Three (3) or more years of experience defining, articulating and writing business, technical, contractual and/or administrative requirements to meet the business needs.
•    Three (3) or more years of experience in vendor management including operations/service delivery, governance and issue resolution.

About this Position:
This position is located in Victoria.
Flexible work options are available; this position may be able to work up to 4 days at home per week subject to an approved telework agreement.
