Position Overview
Prestonwood Landscape Services is seeking a reliable and hardworking Irrigation Helper / Driver to support our irrigation team in the field. This role involves assisting with irrigation installation and maintenance while safely operating company vehicles, including trucks with 18–20 ft trailers. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow within the landscaping and irrigation industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist irrigation technicians with installation, maintenance, and repair of irrigation systems
- Load, transport, and unload equipment, materials, and tools to job sites
- Safely operate company vehicles, including trucks pulling 18–20 ft trailers
- Perform daily vehicle and trailer inspections to ensure safe operation
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Follow all safety guidelines and company procedures
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Experience driving trucks with trailers (18–20 ft) required
- Irrigation or landscaping experience is a strong plus, but not required
- Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in outdoor conditions
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
- Ability to work overtime and 10-hour days as needed
Schedule & Work Environment
- Full-time position
- Availability for overtime required
- Typical workdays may be up to 10 hours depending on workload and season
- Outdoor, physically active work environment

Pay: $18.42 – $20.00 per hour
