We are a growing, full-service landscaping company providing landscaping, hardscaping, and associated services to our clients. We are looking for an experienced and dependable Irrigation Technician to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work, problem-solving, and being part of a close-knit crew that takes pride in quality craftsmanship.
Position Overview
The Irrigation Technician will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of residential and commercial irrigation systems. You will work independently and with team members to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Install new irrigation systems, including piping, valves, controllers, and sprinkler heads
- Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues (leaks, electrical problems, coverage issues, etc.)
- Perform seasonal start-ups, shutdowns/winterizations, and routine maintenance
- Adjust systems for optimal water efficiency and coverage
- Communicate clearly with supervisors and clients regarding system needs and repairs
- Must track time and materials on all jobs for self and possible crew
- Maintain vehicles, tools, equipment, inventory, and a clean work environment
- Follow company procedures and safety standards at all times
Qualifications
- Previous irrigation installation and repair experience required
- Working knowledge of irrigation components and controllers
- Ability to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical labor
