Overview
Join RG Landscape as an Irrigation Technician and play a key role in keeping DFW’s outdoor spaces healthy and running right. You’ll install, repair, and maintain irrigation systems across residential and commercial properties — and you’ll take ownership of your work from the moment you load up the truck to the moment you wrap up the job.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems using hand tools, power tools, and other specialized equipment.
- Assist with general lawn care and landscape maintenance tasks.
- Conduct pre- and post-shift checks on irrigation tools, equipment, and parts inventory to ensure everything is accounted for, clean, and in working order.
- Maintain detailed records of system repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities for accountability and future reference.
- Collaborate with team members on landscape projects, ensuring all work aligns with horticultural best practices.
Experience
- Proven experience working with irrigation systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance.
- Mechanical knowledge related to plumbing, sprinkler components, and power tools usage.
- Familiarity with lawn care techniques and landscape maintenance practices.
- Hands-on experience operating hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment such as excavators.
- Knowledge of horticulture principles to support healthy plant growth within landscape settings.
- Ability to follow technical instructions precisely while maintaining safety standards on-site.
