Bevo Farms Ltd operates three sites in the lower mainland of British Columbia and two facilities in the province of Alberta. 

SUMMARY

As part of efforts to support continued growth in Bevo’s industry-leading agricultural business, we are seeking an Inventory Planning Coordinator to manage and optimize plant inventory across operations in Edmonton. This role is responsible for planning, monitoring, and allocating inventory to meet customer demand while ensuring accurate product availability for the sales team.

Working closely with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain teams, the Inventory Planning Coordinator will play a key role in improving forecasting accuracy, minimizing waste, and ensuring alignment between inventory levels and business needs. This position requires a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Inventory Planning and Coordination 

    • Coordinate and support inventory allocation to meet customer demand 
    • Maintain accurate inventory availability in systems 
    • Assist in adjusting allocations based on daily operational needs 
  • Inventory Monitoring & Reporting

    • Track inventory levels, aging, and availability 
    • Identify shortages, excess, and potential waste 
    • Prepare regular inventory reports for internal teams 
  • Forecasting Support

    • Assist with sales forecasting using historical data 
    • Generate reports to support planning decisions 
    • Highlight risks and discrepancies in inventory 
  • Cross-Department Coordination

    • Liaise with Sales, Production, and Operations teams 
    • Communicate inventory updates, constraints, and priorities 
    • Support alignment between supply and customer orders 
  • Operations & Administrative Support

    • Support day-to-day operational tasks (production coordination, order tracking, shipping support) 
    • Maintain accurate records in ERP/inventory systems 
    • Assist with data entry, documentation, and process tracking 
    • Provide general administrative support to the operations team
    • Other duties as assigned 
  • Process Improvement

    • Assist in improving inventory tracking and reporting processes 
    • Maintain SOPs and documentation 
    • Support efficiency initiatives across departments 

  • REQUIRED SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE

    •  Post-secondary education in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
    •  Minimum 1 year of experience in inventory planning, supply chain, or operations (agriculture/horticulture experience is an asset)
    •  Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    •  Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel required; advanced skills preferred)
    •  Experience with inventory management systems or ERP tools is an asset
    •  Strong organizational and time-management skills
    •  Strong communication and collaboration abilities
    •  Strong attention to detail and accuracy
    • Comfort working with physical inventory and hands-on material handling.

  • NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience supporting international shipping processes and documentation.
  • Experience in manufacturing environments.
  • Familiarity with inventory control best practices and cycle counting methods.
  • Experience contributing to process improvements in inventory or logistics workflows.
  • Forklift certificate

  • MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS

• Legally entitled to work in Canada. Full-time, in-office role
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with changing priorities
• Must possess reliable transportation

  • Compensation and Benefits

  • Hourly pay: $23- $25 CAD
