Inventory and Warehouse Management Coordinator

Position Overview:

The Inventory and Warehouse Management Coordinator has the core responsibility of serving as the liaison between Delhi Operations, Production, Purchasing. The position includes working with identified departments as it relates to inventory management and site organization for all items within the Delhi Operation, this includes containers, tags, soil media, and plant product. Further, they will work in the warehouse to assist with receiving and facilitate shipments to Fernlea US locations and Retail.

Responsibilities:

· Liasion between transplanting, production, labour to both provide and verify production (plant product) input volumes.

· Work with team members to track inventory of plant product on Fernlea application.

· Work with Purchasing Department for physical inventory counts of hard goods, recording loss of inventory, product placement within the yard and facility.

· Create forward looking visibility into inventory position and address gaps relative to projected demand through collaboration with cross-functional teams

· Manage day to day operations of warehouse activities, such as receiving, inventory of receivables, organizing, and shipping planning.

· Assist with shipping and receiving logistic paper work.

· Inter-company transfer input and receiving.

· Monitor inventory levels of hard goods and raw materials.

Requirements:

· Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment

· Strong background in Microsoft Excel/other analytical tools

· Ability to communicate effectively and efficiently through multiple channels (oral, written, presentations etc)

· Appetite and vision for continuous improvement of processes

· Professional experience and demeanor that establishes credibility across cross-functional departments

· Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills

Qualifications for Position:

Strong Microsoft Office skills. (Excel experience is essential)
Ability to learn new inhouse software program.
Strong interpersonal communication skills.
Calm, factual and self confident in stressful situations
Able to plan and organize.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a time sensitive manner.
Competent problem solver and decision maker.
Clear verbal and written communication skills.
Organizational skills with strong attention to detail
Foliage Plant Nursery knowledge an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $24.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week
