Responsibilities
- Assist in patient assessments and support the delivery of quality patient care under supervision
- Prepare and assist with medical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by supervising physicians or nurses
- Maintain accurate documentation of patient information, treatments, and procedures using medical terminology
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure clear understanding of care plans
- Follow infection control protocols and uphold hygiene standards within the clinical environment
Requirements
- Medical degree from an accredited international institution (International Medical Graduate status)
- Prior familly medicine experience is preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience in patient care is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration procedures
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Ability to adapt to fast-paced clinical settings and handle multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Must have or be eligible for appropriate licensing
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to healthcare regulations and standards
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
