Read on…As Quorum’s Intermediate Developer, you will participate in multiple projects, creating solutions that meet market needs relating to developing, testing, and maintaining products. The Intermediate Developer is responsible for designing fully functioning, debugged code with required documentation that meets development goals.

Here is what we will expect from you at work:

You will

build and maintain reliable software that delivers on Quorum’s promises of speed, accuracy, and customer-centered design

You will

make design choices that empower our customers and that support our mission and brand

You will

interact with members of the Product Management team and the Product Development team to make sure that the voices of our users are heard and that our products work as expected

When bugs appear, you will help address them in a timely manner and put steps in place to prevent them in the future

Give and receive constructive feedback on design ideas and code Write automated tests with every feature that you ship

You will

assist in

mentoring and coaching

other members of the development team when it comes to visual design and software architecture

Contributes to project goals, feature creation, development efforts, and deployment by writing code Automates and maintain code testing

Performs peer

code reviews

to ensure the security and quality of written code based on industry standards

Understands a primary code base at a structural level, follows style and security patterns

Understands how to communicate and collaborate within the team Understands and takes full advantage of the platforms and tooling within the organization

Contributes to the completion of defined technical debt work within the primary code base Evaluates and estimate individual feature work

Here is the kind of candidate we are looking for:

You have

3+ years of experience in Software Development, specifically with desktop applications.

You have

a working knowledge of Git

version control

, along with a deep understanding of code management best practices, and cloud-based code repositories such as Git Hub.

You have

experience with development languages such as Power Builder, C# .NET…
