Summary
The Manager, Marketing Channel Strategy & Operations is responsible for the timely delivery of all marketing related communications within the Authenticated Channels (Mobile Banking, Online, ABM, the public site, and the Email channel). Working alongside the Campaign Execution team, and supporting the Marketing Planners, this role brings together the full set of assets (creative and content) necessary to launch digital campaigns.
Contributes to the overall success of Marketing ensuring specific individual goals, plans, initiatives are executed/delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives. Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Supports the Marketing Planners with all activities related to digital campaigns, publishing, digital user experiences, and digital sales.
- Assists the Campaign Enablement team with investigating any pre-production or post-production errors or issues.
- Monitors and ensures compliance with relevant CASL, anti-spam, and privacy regulations.
- Works with channel partners to find opportunities for collaboration and optimization, including retargeting, deep-linking, and optimization of campaigns for an omni-channel experience.
- Partners with Analytics, Data Science, and Marketing Science to provide full-funnel channel measurement, including integrations of lower-funnel data sources like Adobe Analytics and Authenticated channel metrics.
- Makes recommendations based on key learnings for channel optimizations, including email triggers, resolving customer pain points, and the integration of new vendors and omni-channel opportunities.
- Oversees the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, ensuring that all elements are delivered on time and within budget.
- Coordinates with various teams (creative, content, analytics, etc.) to gather necessary assets and information for campaign execution.
- Monitors campaign performance and provides regular updates to stakeholders, making adjustments as needed to optimize results.
- Manages project timelines and ensures that all team members are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Identifies and mitigates risks that could impact the successful delivery of campaigns.
- Collaborates with external vendors and partners to ensure seamless integration and execution of campaigns.
- Provides post-campaign analysis and reports on key metrics, offering insights and recommendations for future campaigns.
Must Have Skills
- 3 years of experience as Delivery or Project manager in marketing campaign space.
- 3+ years experience with digital marketing platforms such as Responsys, Adobe Campaign, Adobe Journey Optimizer, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager
- 3+ years of recent experience Data marketing platforms i.e. Adobe Analytics, Power BI, and Adobe CDP
- Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills with a thorough understanding of how to communicate effectively across one to one marketing channels
Nice-To-Have Skills
- Strong PMO and Project management experience, working in squad or Agile environment is highly preferred.
- Experience with Adobe Workfront, automation and AI modeling tools is nice to have
- Experience in Excel reporting and formulas, with pivot tables and advanced functions
Degrees or Certifications
- Marketing accreditation or four-year degree [Marketing, Business or related field preferred] or relevant industry experience.
- PMP certification is nice to have
- Adobe suite certifications is nice to have.
Best vs. Average Candidate
The ideal candidate would be an experienced Delivery / Project manager with strong attention to details and stakeholder management skills.
