Intermediate Interior Designer | Multi-Residential
Join Our U31 Team!
U31 is seeking a talented Intermediate Interior Designer to join our collaborative, design-focused studio. If you have 5–7 years of professional experience in an interior design firm—ideally with a focus on condominium and multi-residential design—and are ready to take on greater ownership of projects while continuing to grow toward a Senior Designer role, we'd love to hear from you.
At U31, we believe great design is born from collaboration, curiosity, and a shared passion for creating thoughtful, timeless interiors.
Working alongside our senior designers and leadership team, you'll play a key role in leading project deliverables, developing design concepts, space planning, consultant coordination, client presentations, and project documentation while mentoring and supporting junior team members. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to a diverse portfolio of luxury residential, multi-family, and hospitality projects from concept through completion.
We're looking for someone who is:
· Self-driven, highly motivated, and passionate about exceptional interior design
· A strong conceptual thinker with excellent space planning and interior composition skills
· Experienced in the design and documentation of multi-family condominium and purpose-built rental projects
· Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop), and visualization software
· Capable of producing presentation-quality rendered plans, elevations, and 3D visualizations
· Experience and/or familiarity with Revit is considered an asset
· Confident coordinating with consultants, clients, and project teams throughout the design process
· A collaborative team player with a positive, solutions-focused attitude
· An excellent communicator with strong organizational skills and attention to detail
· Knowledgeable about local interior design practices and building codes as they apply to condominium and residential projects
· Committed to design excellence while mentoring and supporting junior team members
Only qualified applicants will be considered. Please submit your cover letter, résumé, and a small portfolio sample to [email protected]
No phone inquiries, please.
