Contract, Calgary, Onsite, 6 month contract

Must Haves

Experience as a Desk Side technician supporting IT operations
, infrastructure management
, and system maintenance

Experience handling hardware
, software
, and network troubleshooting within large-scale environments

Competence in technology procurement
, asset tracking
, and vendor coordination

Familiarity with project management tools and IT service management (ITSM) systems

Experience with Project Coordination and administration

Nice to Have

Experience supporting executive-level IT leadership and cybersecurity initiatives

Knowledge of multi-factor authentication setup and access management procedures

Background in public sector or facility-based IT environments

Responsibilities

Provide administrative and scheduling support to the Director of IT and Cyber Security

Coordinate hardware, software, and service procurement processes

Manage IT asset inventory and ensure timely updates and maintenance

Assist with troubleshooting technical issues and supporting users across the organization

Track project milestones, update documentation, and communicate progress to stakeholders

Oversee vendor contracts, renewals, and resolution of IT service issues

Assist in implementing access control, data protection, and network security protocols

Organize department meetings, prepare minutes, and follow up on action items
