Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Interior Designer role based in Waterloo Region. The Interior Designer will be responsible for creating functional and visually appealing spaces for our clients' kitchen and bathroom renovations. Key day-to-day tasks include space planning, drafting construction drawings, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), collaborating with architects and contractors, and ensuring all design plans align with client goals and project requirements. Client consultations and showroom support are also integral to the role.
Qualifications
- Proven expertise in Space Planning and Interior Design
- Experience with the creation and interpretation of Construction Drawings
- Knowledge of Architecture and FF&E selection processes
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with clients and contractors
- Proficiency in design software and tools relevant to the role
- Ability to manage time effectively and balance multiple design projects
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience in bathroom and kitchen designs is an advantage
- Knowledge of building codes, materials, and construction methods is a plus
