Position Overview: Reporting to the Director of Content & Programming, the Integrated Marketing Specialist supports the execution of integrated marketing, communications, and promotional initiatives across Restaurants Canada’s events (in-person & virtual), digital content, and programs.

This role is responsible for coordinating and delivering multi-channel marketing initiatives that support audience engagement, brand visibility, sponsor activation, and event participation across the organization’s key platforms. The Integrated Marketing Specialist works closely with internal teams, external agencies, sponsors, and vendors to help ensure campaigns and experiences are executed professionally, efficiently, and on schedule.

The Integrated Marketing Specialist will support Restaurants Canada’s advocacy and government relations priorities by helping amplify industry issues, elevating operator voices, and strengthening stakeholder awareness across Canada’s foodservice industry.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing & Campaign Execution

  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns, including copywriting, imagery selection, template updates, audience lists, testing, and deployment
  • Support lead generation initiatives through campaign coordination, reporting, and real-time optimization
  • Create marketing collateral and graphic assets using Canva, including house ads, sales materials, social graphics, and presentation materials
  • Assist the Digital Marketing & Communications Manager with website updates, content uploads, and marketing copy revisions across event and organizational platforms
  • Support promotional campaigns across webinars, awards program, town halls, and other industry initiatives

Event & Program Marketing Support

  • Coordinate marketing support and develop promotional materials for: webinars, town halls, awards program, and events
  • Build and manage event registration pages, Zoho microsites, forms, surveys, and attendee communications
  • Support sponsor and speaker coordination, including briefing documents, assets, presentation updates, and logistics communications
  • Support post-event reporting, survey analysis, and sponsor recap and reporting materials

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Liaise with marketing-related vendors, agencies, photographers, videographers, media partners, and PR teams
  • Coordinate briefing documents, timelines, approvals, and creative requirements across multiple stakeholders
  • Support media outreach initiatives, accreditation processes, and press-related coordination
  • Manage project timelines and workback schedules to ensure deliverables remain on track

Administrative Support

  • Maintain organized digital filing systems and campaign documentation
  • Support internal presentation decks, informational documents, executive speeches, and ad-hoc communications materials
  • Assist with campaign metrics reporting and performance analysis

 

Required Skills

  • Post-secondary degree or diploma in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong written communication and creative copywriting abilities
  • Proficiency in Canva and basic graphic design principles
  • Experience with email marketing platforms and campaign execution
  • Experience with social media content creation and scheduling platforms
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) systems
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency with project management platforms like: Monday, Airtable, Asana
  • Ability to interpret marketing metrics and campaign performance data
  • Strong organizational and project management skills
  • Professional communication and stakeholder management skills

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting conferences, trade shows, or hospitality-related events
  • Experience with platforms such as Zoho Campaigns, Zoom Events, Sprout Social, or similar marketing and communications tools is considered an asset
  • Experience working with external agencies, PR teams, and creative vendors
  • Understanding of sponsorship deliverables and integrated marketing campaigns

 

Hybrid Environment: This position requires a minimum of three days per week in-office. The current standard is in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, though flexibility will be required based on need. Restaurant Canada’s hybrid work environment is subject to regular reviews and could change.

Salary range: $58,851 – $72,314 per year (CAD), based on experience and qualifications.
