Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Installer/Technician to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting a wide range of sectional, rolling, dock leveler systems at various client sites. Your expertise will ensure that systems operate efficiently, meet safety standards, and provide reliable solutions. Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and test door systems.
- Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete installations and equipment mounting with precision.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and company/client safety protocols during installation projects.
- Collaborate with clients to explain system features and conduct training on system operation when necessary.
- Maintain detailed service records and installation logs for each project or service call.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a service technician or installer in door systems or related construction fields.
- Strong mechanical knowledge combined with electrical experience related to low voltage systems and power tools usage.
- Ability to read technical manuals and schematics accurately.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot electrical or mechanical issues efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; ability to travel locally for field service assignments.
- Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and team members effectively. Pay: $22.00 – $30.00 per hour
