Artistic Concrete is looking for an experienced Installation Technician to join our team!
Job Title: Installation Technician
Job Hours: 7:00am-3:00pm, M-F
Job Summary: Reporting to the Job Foreman, the Installation Technician supports the installation of flooring systems by assisting with surface preparation, mixing and applying concrete coatings, and using a variety of tools and equipment to complete projects safely and efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist the Job Foreman with all aspects of flooring system installation
- Follow direction to ensure high-quality workmanship and efficient project completion
- Mix and apply concrete coatings according to manufacturer specifications
- Operate electric hand tools such as grinders, shop vacs, and other equipment as needed
- Maintain a strong focus on safety at all times
- Clean and maintain job sites, tools, and shop areas
- Understand and follow all job site rules and expectations
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Job Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of general construction experience required
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
- Ability to operate heavy equipment such as floor grinders and other job-related tools
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn
Physical Requirements
- Frequently required to stand, walk, talk, hear, and use hands/fingers to handle, grasp, pinch, touch tools, objects, controls and equipment
- Regularly required to reach above shoulders, kneel, crouch, and operate machinery using hands and feet
- Occasionally required to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to bend at the waist, climb, and maintain balance
Work Conditions and Environment:
- Work is performed in dusty environments with exposure to flooring materials, coatings, and chemicals
- No smoking permitted on job sites, in the warehouse, or in company vehicles
This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced environment where safety, teamwork, and quality are key to success.
Pay & Benefits
- Pay Range: $20.00-$25.00 Per Hour (Based on Experience)
