Countertop Installer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Granite Countertop Installer to join our team. You will be responsible for transporting, fitting, and securing high-quality stone surfaces in residential and commercial settings. The ideal candidate takes pride in precision craftsmanship and provides excellent customer service on every job site.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Safely transport, load, and unload heavy granite, quartz, and marble slabs.
- Precision Fitting: Install countertops, backsplashes, and vanities according to templates and shop drawings.
- On-Site Fabrication: Perform minor on-site adjustments, including cutting sink holes, polishing edges, and setting seams.
- Site Preparation: Ensure cabinets are level and structurally sound before installation.
- Finishing Touches: Apply sealants and clean surfaces to ensure a flawless final appearance.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate professionally with clients, explaining care instructions and addressing any concerns.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 1–3+ years of experience in stone or countertop installation preferred.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy material safely and work on your feet throughout the day.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with power tools like wet saws, grinders, and polishers.
- Math Skills: Ability to read a tape measure to the 1/16th inch and understand basic geometry.
- Licensing: Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities for on-site troubleshooting and a high attention to detail.
