Inside Sales Representative Jobs in Marietta, GA at A&M Supply Corporation
A&M Supply is looking to add a motivated and personable individual to our inside sales team. Strong computer skills are required along with the willingness to learn about interior building materials. Duties will include order entry, sales quotes, assisting the inside sales staff among others.
Customer service skills are crucial to this position. Candidate will be expected to assist in the service of a large, existing customer base. To succeed in these tasks a friendly, capable and creative attitude is necessary. We pride ourselves on finding unique solutions for our customers and we’re constantly trying to innovate the way business is done in our field.
Key Responsibilities:
- · Excellent ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment where time is of the essence.
- · Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain product features and solicit orders.
- · Utilize product knowledge to recommend products to customers based on customers’ needs and interests.
- · Answer customers’ questions about products, prices, availability, product uses and credit terms.
- · Estimate or quote prices, credit or contract terms, warranties and delivery dates
- · Consult with clients after sales or contract signings to resolve problems and to provide ongoing support.
- · Negotiate prices or other sales terms.
- · Cold calling to identify potential customers.
- · Maintain records of sales or other business transactions.
- · Develop proposals for current or prospective customers.
- · Increase focus on key customers in a support role.
- · Gain superior product knowledge in support of our customers.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- 2+ years of inside sales experience in a call center environment preferred.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Must be able pass a drug screen and background check.
- Excellent verbal communication skills and telephone manner.
- Familiarity with Windows operating system Word/Excel and Microsoft office Suite.
- Proven track record of successful sales experience preferred.
