Inside Sales Locksmith Jobs in Lawrence, KS at Rueschhoff Locksmiths
Rueschhoff Locksmiths is looking for a full-time locksmith. Locksmith will be responsible for answering the phone, checking in orders and scheduling jobs, working with the public, and standard locksmith duties.
Must be neat and professional in one’s appearance.
Skills and Abilities Needed:
- Experience and knowledge of lock mechanisms and systems (but not required)
- Experience and knowledge of key equipment (but not required)
- Excellent interpersonal skills pertaining to customer service as well as acquiring new customers
- Electronic knowledge is helpful (but not required)
- Must work well with the general public.
- Experience and knowledge of safe locks & service helpful (but not required)
- Valid and current driver’s license and clean record
- Drug Test required before start of employment
- Good phone & computer skills a must!
Responsibilities:
- Servicing and maintenance of commercial and residential hardware
- Shop work including, but not limited to, copying keys, re-keying, picking locks, and cutting to code.
- Creating automotive keys and programming transponders
- Accurately tracking service call tickets and inventory items
- Compliance with company and customer safety procedures
Technicians may be asked to perform additional duties and therefore this list is subject to adjustment at the request of management at any time.
Hours of operation are 8:30am- 5:00pm Monday-Friday. No weekends required unless specific job is scheduled in advance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour
