Southern Irrigation is actively looking for a Full-Time Inside Sales – Irrigation Expert for our Chilliwack location. The successful candidate should excel in customer service, have good communication skills, and a positive attitude. We welcome qualified international applicants that can effectively communicate (written and oral) in English, however this is not a remote work position.
Job Title: Inside Sales – Irrigation Expert
Rate of pay:$30-$35/hr plus benefits (depending on technical knowledge and experience)
Job purpose: This position’s primary responsibility is to increase sales and profitability by building and maintaining strong relationships with customers primarily through phone and email.

Customer Service– strong relationships are being built and maintained.
Sales– Total sales and margin goals are set and met.
Technical knowledge– training (product knowledge and application) goals are set and met.
Teamwork– communicating, mentoring, networking, and helping other team members, departments, or locations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver personalized attention to each customer, providing the best in quality service and value.
Take ownership of key accounts with face-to-face interactions, company swag, showing interest in their projects, etc
Answer customer inquiries via phone and email and process sales orders.
Work effectively within customer relationship management (CRM) software (creating leads, following up on leads, turning leads into orders, following up on purchases)
Monitor quote success rates and watch for trends; reporting details on reasons for unsuccessful quotes in CRM software for sales lead review.
Attend year-round training sessions and product knowledge seminars, pursue industry certifications when training and testing is available
Work with team mates to learn, mentor, and assist with workload
