AM Industrial is looking for a full-time industrial mechanic. This position is part of a repair/rebuild team. The job is fast paced, team oriented and always growing. This position is responsible for industrial equipment/machinery repair, pneumatics (simple), mechanical fitting and assembly. Basic industrial mechanical understanding is required. The pay is commensurate with the experience.
Duties:
– Rebuild and replace bearings and drive assemblies
– Bolt and fit parts
– Work to complete the machine projects on a daily basis
– Test functions according to multi step protocols and procedures
– Replace/repair operating parts as necessary: testing motors, blowers, pulse systems, replacement filters and parts where necessary
– Relate new ideas and efficiency improvement to management for evaluation
– Must poses good technical skills, flexibility and adaptability to change
– Able to work in a warehouse and outdoors
– Industrial machinery skills
– Demonstrate experience with standard hand and power tools
– Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize
– Work independently and with a team
– Valid driver license required
