Full job description
This role will be supporting the Construction Site Team for a large scale industrial project.
In this position you will work closely with Regional HR and the Construction Management Team.
Interpreting and administering collective agreements, including Project Labour Agreements.
Lead negotiations for any revisions to the PLA.
The role requires you to be bring expertise in collective bargaining, collective agreements, wage data, local labour trends, and laws.
Serve as a liaison between the workforce, construction contractors, and company leadership.
Managing employees’ labour contracts on issues such as salaries, benefits, work hours, fair employment practices, safety codes, union practices, and grievances.
Develop labour policies for the project construction site.
Manage dispute resolutions involving unions, management, and employees.
Ensure contract staff comply with union contracts.
Organize and oversee monthly site labor meetings.
Collaborate with Human Resources on labour policies.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100.00-$120.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
