Duration: FTE/ Contract (6 Months)
Salary/Rate: CAD $90000-120000 and $45-60/hr (commensurate with experience)
Required Skills
- Immediate opening for an Industrial Engineer with strong experience in Aerospace / Aircraft manufacturing systems. Looking for candidates with a solid aerospace background; compensation is flexible for the right profile.
- Lead the planning, design, construction, and readiness of manufacturing facilities and production environments, ensuring alignment with aerospace manufacturing and assembly requirements.
- Drive manufacturing system development including production layouts, tooling, automation, production flow, facility infrastructure, and lean manufacturing strategies for detail parts, subassemblies, aerostructures, and final assembly operations.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, IT, contractors, and consultants to support manufacturing readiness, implement advanced manufacturing technologies, improve productivity, and ensure compliance with aerospace quality and regulatory standards.
- Manage project execution through budgeting, scheduling, governance reporting, risk mitigation, commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives while promoting innovation, operational efficiency, and technical excellence across manufacturing teams.
