Position: Industrial Electrician – Days

  • Monday to Friday (6:00am to 2:30pm)
  • Wire control panels and industrial equipment with minimum direction
  • Correctly interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings
  • Repairs and troubleshooting
  • Complying with all safety regulations and work in a safe manner
  • Working in a team environment
  • Being professional and punctual

    • Electrical Wiring

    * Industrial Electrician (422A) OR Construction & Maintenance (309A) license

    * 3 yrs+ experience in electrical wiring in a manufacturing environment

    * Able to read electrical drawings

    * Knowledge of installations, troubleshooting, documentation, Canadian Electrical Code

    * Experience with reading blueprints / electrical drawings (2D)

    * Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, MS Office

    * Able to lift up to 30 lbs

    * Good communication and interpersonal skills required

    * Strong safety orientation and ability to follow proper safety procedures (i.e Lock-Out / Tag-Out, etc.) with a ‘do it right the first time’ mentality

    * Self-sufficient and team oriented

    * Willing and able to work assigned shift
