The Opportunity Shift Pattern:

Day shift

Monday to Friday Frequent overtime required based on production needs

Weekend availability required for repairs and maintenance as needed Position Description Ensures adherence to all organizational safety guidelines, including wearing PPE, adhering to correct lifting methods, and securing equipment correctly.

Complies with all Quality, GMP, HACCP, and BRC standards when producing Ready to Eat (RTE) chicken products.

Executes all designated tasks as specified in the Operator Proficiency Checklist.

Meets the organization’s attendance standards.

Services, fixes, tweaks, and tests machinery and devices based mainly on mechanical and electrical systems.

Gathers information through observation and various relevant sources.

Examines equipment and structures to determine error sources or issues.

Evaluates information to make informed decisions and address problems effectively.

Continuously updates technical knowledge and applies it to tasks.

Manipulates, installs, and relocates materials using manual dexterity.

Engages in significant physical activities involving the entire body, like climbing, carrying, and moving objects.

Categorizes and detects changes or similarities in information or events.

Observes information from various sources to identify potential issues.

Operators will undergo training on SOPs and refer to the Master Document control list.

• Identify and investigate machinery irregularities.

Consult with supervisor regarding tasks.

Repair machinery, replacing parts as needed, using specialized tools.

Confirm that repaired equipment functions at the desired levels.

Conduct routine Preventive and Predictive maintenance.

Oversee and manage systems like power transmission and hydraulic systems.

Discuss completed tasks with Supervisors, Managers, and machinery operators.

Follow blueprints and schematics to decide on work processes.

Use tools to install, move, or disassemble heavy machinery according to plan.

Utilize equipment such as cranes and jacks for machinery placement and repair.

Use tools like lathes and welding gear for machinery overhaul and set-up.

Undertake any additional tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.

Assist other millwright workers as needed.

Ensure machinery is in good working order and lubricated.

Perform basic electrical fixes and diagnose issues.

Set up, test, and maintain electrical components.

Identify issues in malfunctioning systems using testing devices.

Collaborate with ESA. Experience 3 years of experience as a licensed 442A electrician is ideal

Manufacturing/industrial experience

Food manufacturing experience

PLC programming knowledge/experience Qualifications Accustomed to working in a warm/cold

work environment

Comfortable working around raw or cooked meat products

Education

AEC / DEP or

Skilled Trades

certificate.
