Position: Indigenous Relations Executive for Construction
Lead the development of a new Indigenous Relations function at one of GTA’s largest construction managers. This executive role requires deep engagement and partnership with Indigenous communities to ensure successful project delivery.

We are seeking an experienced Indigenous Relations Leader to shape a new function from the ground up. You will be designing strategies and managing relationships with First Nations, Métis, and Inuit communities.

Your role includes ensuring meaningful participation and embedding commitments into contracts prior to project initiation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build the Indigenous Relations strategy and framework from scratch

• Manage relationships with Indigenous community leaders and corporations

• Present the IR Strategy to stakeholders on behalf of the firm

• Embed Indigenous workforce participation in contracts

• Create community benefit agreements adhering to reporting standards

Requirements:

• Proven experience leading Indigenous Relations on large ICI projects

• Strong understanding of procurement and workforce pathways

• Ability to engage with various stakeholders effectively

• Proven policy formulation and reporting experience

• Must be legally allowed to work in Canada

Establish an impactful Indigenous Relations function while contributing to community advancement within major construction projects.
