Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Hand to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various farm operations, including irrigation, maintenance, and operation of farm machinery. We will not accept any applicants that do not have at least 2 years experience. You will be questioned on many topics to make sure you have the appropriate experience. You MUST have experience!
Duties:
– Assist with irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of crops
– Operate and maintain farm machinery and equipment
– Perform heavy lifting tasks as needed
– Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and repair equipment
-Keep reservoirs clean and full
– Operate power tools and hand tools for various farm tasks
Experience:
The successful candidate should possess the following skills:
– 2 years experience in farming/growing food, haying etc.
– Experience with heavy equipment operation
– Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
– Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks
– Familiarity with farm machinery and tools
– Proficiency in operating power tools
– Knowledge of maintaining farm equipment
