Job Description

We currently have an opening for an Intermediate Hydrogeologist to

join our team

in Vernon.

Responsibilities

include the following:

Planning, organizing, and executing field programs, including collecting and analyzing field data from surface and groundwater sampling, water supply well drilling and water well design, borehole logging, and hydraulic well tests. Evaluating data and technical reporting of:

Site characterization, water budgets, groundwater availability and quality;

Groundwater monitoring;

Dewatering;

Groundwater-surface water connection;

Source Water Protection Plans, Water Supply and Demand, and Watershed Management Plans; and Environmental Impact Assessments. Managing projects and/or supporting other project managers, including scope and

budget management

, scheduling and invoicing. Supporting business development efforts, including proposal writing. Communicating and coordinating with clients and contractors.

Job Requirements

What you will bring:

Undergraduate or graduate degree in geology or geoscience with a focus in hydrogeology. 5+ years of relevant work experience in a related field; preference will be given to candidates with consulting experience. Excellent written and oral

communication skills

, with technical and non-technical clients and contractors.

Ability to

work in a

fast-paced environment

with strong time management and organizational skills.

Experience working

safely in remote areas and extreme environments and weather conditions. Proficiency with hydrogeological software used for technical analyses, data management and modeling.
