proven track record

sourcing, nurturing and maintaining client relationships to effectively develop client driven solutions based on a clear understanding of client pain points, which results in increased business for the organization. With over 5 years of direct Building Automation System (BAS) business development experience and a desire for success, the successful proponent will leverage strategic thinking, networking, past successes and lessons learned to effectively develop new business for the organization.

The successful proponent will work independently to increase our client portfolio while working collaboratively with team members and stakeholders alike to develop winning client solutions.

KEY DUTIES &

RESPONSIBILITIES

Business Development Strategy:  Creation and execution of targeted business development strategies and tactics for BAS and HVAC to acquire new business, penetrate new and existing markets as well as expand existing client service delivery scope. Contribute to the business growth and profitability of the organization via successful negotiation and winning of effective BAS and HVAC business solutions. In

collaboration

with internal stakeholders and team members, develop appropriate solutions that address client needs and business strategy/objectives while taking into consideration the clients’ business and value drivers, as well as perceived value of the proposed solution(s).

Provide ongoing status of business development opportunities and activities via CRM software. Participate in the review of strategies and approaches to identify areas for ongoing improvement. Attend regular meetings to discuss suspect-prospect status and strategies to secure business for the organization.

Relationship Management:  Development and maintenance of effective relationships with prospects, clients, consultants and mechanical contractors as well as external contacts to support business development pursuits and marketing initiatives.

and Industry Knowledge:  Elevate the visibility of the organization and thought

leadership

on behalf of BGIS ITS Canada Ltd. through involvement in trade shows, marketing events and speaking engagements. Develop and maintain current industry knowledge and trends for all relevant vertical markets, their competitive landscape, prospective clients etc.

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS
