Requirements
and tasks:
Maintain electronic employee files
Daily administration
Travel throughout designated GLS facilities will vary Assist with implementing policies and procedures (employee handbook, attendance policy,legislative compliance)
Respond to employee enquiries in a timely, confidential, and professional manner
Act as the key point of contact in supporting employees and managers in the areas of employee relations, performance management, and other employment-related issues
Assist with employee incidents, discipline, and terminations. Prepares/assists in the distribution ofrelated documentation in consultation with Operations team Coach and provide an outlet to all level of employees with work related concerns
Provide on-going coaching/feedback as necessary to management and employees on all relevant areas of development
Responsible for creating and maintaining a welcoming and
inclusive
environment
Conduct employee exit interviews, identifying trends and providing recommendations for effective change
Respond to inquiries from employees and managers in a timely manner that represents a high degree of customer service
Prepares various report
Other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
Minimum 1-3 years’ of Human Resource experience
Post-secondary degree in Human Resources or related field
Certified Human Resources Professional (CHRP) designation or in the process of achieving is anasset
Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written
communication skills
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Knowledge of employment law and practice as it relates to the Federal Labour Standards is anasset, Employment Standards, and relevant Human Rights legislation
Possess a high level of confidentiality, along with good judgement and ability to make decisions
Proficient in Microsoft Suite Products
