Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Human Resources position based in New Germany, NS. The role involves managing end-to-end HR activities, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding processes. Responsibilities include administering HR policies, maintaining employee records, supporting performance management, and coordinating employee benefits and leave administration. The HR professional will handle day-to-day employee relations, provide guidance on HR procedures, and ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and internal guidelines. The role also includes supporting HR initiatives such as training coordination, employee engagement activities, and continuous improvement of HR processes to foster a positive, inclusive workplace.

Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with experience in day-to-day HR operations.
  • Knowledge of HR Policies and ability to implement and communicate them consistently across the organization.
  • Experience with Employee Benefits and Personnel Management, including maintaining accurate and confidential employee records.
  • Familiarity with employment legislation, compliance requirements, and HR best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills, with the ability to work with diverse teams.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency with HRIS or HR-related software and standard office applications (e.g., MS Office or similar tools).
  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification or coursework is an asset.
