Job Summary:
The upcoming DoubleTree by Hilton is seeking a Human Resources Manager for a contract position to oversee all aspects of HR practices and processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing HR strategies and providing sound advice to senior management on all related subjects.
Duties:
– Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
– Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues
– Manage the recruitment and selection process
– Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital
– Monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization
– Ability to motivate employees and maintain a positive work environment
– Plan employee activities
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
– Proven working experience as HR Manager or other HR Executive
– Demonstrable experience with human resources metrics
– Knowledge of HR systems and databases such as Payworks
– Excellent active listening skills and empathy
– Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
Nice-to-have Skills:
– Data collection and analysis skills
– Talent acquisition expertise
– Payroll management experience
