Our client within the nonprofit industry is seeking an HRBP to join their team in Ottawa (a few times a month in office).

As the HRBP, you will act as a true generalist, focusing on specialized projects as they arise. You will handle a variety of HR duties, including legislation issues, health & safety management, employee relations, performance management, talent acquisition strategy and more!
Responsibilities
Serve as a strategic partner to managers and employees on HR-related issues
Manage employee relations, including conflict resolution and performance management
Support HR projects, including policy development and implementation
Provide coaching and guidance to employees and managers on HR-related matters
Collaborate with the HR team on special projects to enhance HR processes
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
5+ years of experience in HR, with a focus on generalist HR duties
Strong understanding of HR best practices and employment legislation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
Fluent in French preferred
Previous experience with Sharepoint & ADP Workday preferred
