Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) Advisor to join our construction management team. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring compliance with safety regulations, promoting a culture of safety on-site, and implementing effective health and safety strategies across construction projects. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to the safety and success of large-scale construction initiatives, supporting both project teams and company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies in accordance with regulatory standards and best practices.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
- Provide safety training sessions for construction personnel to foster awareness and adherence to safety procedures.
- Investigate accidents or incidents, prepare detailed reports, and recommend corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
- Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and workers to promote a proactive safety culture.
- Maintain accurate documentation related to safety audits, inspections, training records, and incident reports.
- Stay updated on relevant legislation, industry standards, and emerging best practices in construction safety.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction safety management or as an HSE Advisor within the construction industry.
- Familiarity with construction management software for tracking safety metrics and documentation.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and other relevant health and safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively train staff and liaise with various project stakeholders.
- Ability to assess risks accurately and develop practical solutions for hazard mitigation.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining compliance records.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
This role is essential for maintaining a safe working environment on construction sites while ensuring compliance with all applicable health and safety regulations. The successful candidate will be committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement in safety practices across all project phases.
Pay: $76,708.59-$108,780.34 per year
