Grande Prairie, Alberta Roska DBO Inc. is seeking a HR & Payroll Administrator to join our team in Grande Prairie. This is an entry level role supporting the HR and Payroll teams in a fast-paced environment. We’re looking for someone organized, detail-oriented, and motivated to build a career in HR or Payroll.

This position requires you to be local to the Grande Prairie area. The successful candidate will conduct all activities in a manner that supports Roska’s CORE Values.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide backup support for phones and general inquiries

Prepare and distribute HR communications

Assist with onboarding employees and contractors

Assist with semi-monthly time processing

Ensure accurate filing across HR and payroll systems

Track probation periods and support performance review processes

Assist with benefits administration and WCB claims

What You Bring:

Strong attention to detail and organization

Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Work, Outlook, Teams)

Professional communication and high level of confidentiality

Initiative, creativity, and willingness to learn

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Qualifications:

Post-secondary education in HR, Business, Payroll, or related field is an asset

Previous administrative, HR, or payroll experience is an asset, but not required
