Monday to Friday: 8am to 5pm (37.5 Hours per week)
Our client is seeking an HP Open View Certified Consultant with a strong working knowledge of the HP Open View Infrastructure environment & supporting modules.
Support experience in a private sector company would be an asset. The role will consist of supporting and implementing specific monitoring of the Swift broadband (and Gatelink, WIMAX) service authentication loopback.
The successful candidate will provide assistance untill the existing team can support the environment adequately with their internal resources
Specific work will consist of:
–
-Implement Firewall, Syslogs and systems logs monitoring based on industry best practices
-Implement Swift broadband infrastructure (Servers, Switches) monitoring based on Site Scope standards
-Implement Swift broadband infrastructure monitoring based on SMARTS events/traps integration and correlation in AMOS
-Perform Service/applications events/traces monitoring correlation
-Work on call records Monitoring based on events/logs generated by applications
-Adhere to AMOS Manuals and Operations Procedures
-Update AMOS Software Change document
Development specifics to support project will consist of:
–
-Support AMOS migration to OMU9
-Support migration of Service Desk to Windows
-Support Radius SNMP Agent and systems/applications logs monitoring
– Implement VMWare SPI deployment, configuration and integration based on industry best practices
-Implement VMWare VCenter Operations deployment
, configuration and integration based on industry best practices for ADLT, ADFP, ADAMS, ACTI, CAMS, AMOS, AFTS/LTV VMs monitoring
-Provide OVO Performance Agents integration for systems/applications performance monitoring and capacity planning
-Work on Oracle SPI deployment, configuration and integration based on industry best practices
-Provide BEA Weblogic SPI deployment
, configuration and integration based on industry best practices
-Support OVO Agents integration for ADLT, ADFP, ADAMS, ACTI, CAMS, AMOS
-Perform Back-end applications logs monitoring HP Open View OMI deployment
, configuration and integration based on industry best practices
-Update AMOS maintenance and support during this project
-Work on supporting the development to support the EFB project
-Provide AMT SNMP Agent and systems/applications logs monitoring
-Provide MS/SQL SPI deployment
, configuration and integration based on industry best practices
-Work on Tomcat SPI deployment
, configuration and integration based on industry best practices
-Support OVO Performance Agents integration
-Support AMT Application logs monitoring
Qualifications should Include:
–
-3 to 10 years of experience working with HP Open View Modules
-HP Open View Certified on at least 1 module within the HP Open View Suite of products (HP Virtualization Management; HP Operations Manager; HP Network Node Manager; HP Site Scope etc).
-Strong experience working with VMWare V Center
-SQL, Tomcat and BEA support experience
-Solid English language communication skills (
French bilingualism is an asset
)
-Excellent client facing (and people skills)
-Quick learner;

-Support experience in a private sector company would be a definite asset.
