About the Role
Salty Swabbers Housekeeping Inc. is a fully bonded, women-run professional cleaning company based in Lockeport, Nova Scotia. We specialize in residential cleaning, Airbnb and short-term rental turnovers, deep cleans, and property management services across Shelburne County and the South Shore.
We are looking for an experienced Housekeeping Supervisor to join our growing team. This is a genuine leadership role – you will be the person who keeps our standards high, our team supported, and our clients happy. Duties and Responsibilities
- Supervise and co-ordinate the daily activities of housekeeping staff
- Hire, onboard, and train new cleaning team members
- Inspect residential, commercial, and short-term rental properties to ensure cleanliness and quality standards are met
- Establish work schedules, assign duties, and manage staff coverage
- Handle client communications and resolve concerns professionally and promptly
- Assist cleaning staff in the field when required
- Maintain quality control across all active job sites
- Report maintenance issues and unusual findings to management
- Ensure all staff follow WHMIS guidelines and safe chemical handling procedures

Requirements
- Secondary school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Minimum 1 year of supervisory or housekeeping leadership experience
- Valid Nova Scotia driver's licence and reliable vehicle
- WHMIS Certificate or willingness to obtain upon hire
- First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain upon hire
- Must be bondable
- Criminal record check required prior to start
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada
