Housekeeping/ Serving/ Fishing Lodge Staff Jobs in Dryden at Silver Water Wheel Lodge
Silver Water Wheel Lodge is a Full Service, American Plan, remote fishing lodge located on the south, shore of Lac Seul, one hour north of Dryden, in northwest Ontario. Our goal is excellent customer service and we are looking for a fun, energetic, hardworking person to assist us in meeting our goal for the 2024 season.
If you are looking for a place to meet new people, earn and save money, all while living on a beautiful lake during the summer, this is the job for you.
Gratuities: Paid directly to Lodge Staff.
Room and Board: Nominal fee charged only on days worked and includes housing, all meals (even on days off) such as steak, prime rib, pork chops…, and laundry. The Room and Board fee is REFUNDED at the end of the season if employment is completed in a satisfactory manner.
Staff are also allowed use of boats/equipment at no charge or a small fee for extended use.

– Ability to recognize, value, and deliver excellent customer service
– Hardworking and conscientious
– Ability to work well independently and with a team
– Experience working with the public, personable
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Ability to work under strict timelines and in a fast paced environment
– Attention to detail
– Ability to handle the solitude of living in a remote location
– Must be available through September.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, all duties related to serving and housekeeping:
– Camp laundry
– Wash dishes
– Clean cabins (make beds, clean bathroom/floors, empty trash, etc.)
– Clean lodge daily (clean bathroom/floors/kitchen, empty trash, etc.)
– Assist with meal preparation and service ware set up
– Serve and clean up after meals
– Restock supplies
– Answer phone
– Assist Guests as required
– Other duties as assigned.
