Housekeeping Manager – Staff Accommodation Available Jobs in Fernie at Park Place Lodge

Park Place Lodge is currently sking energetic and reliab individual to join and oveee all optional aspecof our Hekeeping departmen, starting as soon as pible.

Ououseing Managerst be an enthusiastic and dedica individual with a keen e for detail. You will be responsible for ensuring all of our 64 rooms are cleaned in a timely manner and to our exceptional cleaning standards.

*Key Duties*:

– Establish, implement and oversee all operational aspects of the housekeeping department.

– Training and supervision of up to 10 housekeeping and laundry staff

– Scheduling of staff to meet the hotel’s occupancy demands on a weekly/daily basis

– Planning/Assigning daily duties within the department

– Maintain inventory supplies and order when needed

– Restocking of supply rooms throughout the hotel.

– Ensure that cleaning standards are met/maintained within rooms/common areas through inspections on a regular basis.

– Co-ordinate maintenance and repair requests when needed.

– Ensure the safety standards and department policies are met at all times.

– General housekeeping/laundry duties when required.,

*Job Requirements:*

– Previous supervisor and/or manager experience is preferred

– Ability to lead a team with successful results.

– Excellent attention to detail.

– Organized and detail orientated with thorough follow up skills

– Proficient with Microsoft Office and ability to learn Reservation software

– Ability to train/mentor staff using strong interpersonal skills and communication

– Availability to work flexible shifts including weekends and holidays.

– Must be a motivated, dependable and energetic team player

Salary: $24 per hour with an annual bonus
