Job Description

JOB SUMMARY

To perform housekeepinglaundry aide duties as directed by the manager.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

Grade 12 or equivalent
Completion of a recognized course in housekeeping is preferred.

Experience

Up to one-month current experience preferably in a long term care geriatric setting.
Experience in operating and utilizing commercial/institutional equipment and products.

General Requirements

Must be physically capable of performing the duties of the position.
Must be able to tolerate heat conditions.
Must have a good attendance record.

Special Conditions

In accordance with the Corporate Criminal Record Check Policy, the position requires the incumbent to undergo a Criminal Records Check and submit a Canadian Police Clearance Certificate.
Shift Information

Currently scheduled 8 hours days/evenings shifts, may be required to work days, evenings and nights including weekends. Must be willing and able to work up to 24 hours per week and declare availability of 32 hours per week
