Housekeeping Aide- Part Time Jobs in Cumming, GA at Cumming Nursing Center
Cumming Nursing Center is currently hiring a Housekeeping Aide to join our team. The Housekeeping Aide is responsible for ensuring a clean environment for the facility specifically the resident rooms and ancillary departments. Follows facility policies and performs job duties in compliance with OSHA universal precaution, infection control and facility policies.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 4pm-8pm
DUTIES and REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details.
- Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.
- Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times.
- Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift fifty pounds.
- Ensure work/cleaning schedules are followed
- Collect, and weigh laundry.
- Sort laundry, and separate items that require special stain removal/treatment.
- Wash laundry in accordance with established procedures.
- Press/iron garments as instructed
- Fold, count, stack, hang, and distribute clean laundry as instructed.
- During emergency conditions, assure clean laundry is distributed to designated areas as instructed.
- Ensure equipment is clean and properly stored at the end of shift.
- Ensures adequate supply of laundry supplies are in stock.
- Notifies supervisor when supplies are low.
- Reports any mechanical or equipment needs to supervisor.
- Must be able to work as a team member.
- Solid work ethic, with the initiative for quality and customer service
- Must be reliable and get to work on-time.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
