· Must have WMIS certificate.
Birchview Residences is looking for a detail-oriented and skilled housekeeper to help maintain our facility. Our ideal candidate is responsible, attentive and takes pride in their work. The right person will be passionate about all things domestically, such as keeping a clean home, reorganizing /restocking the storage areas, performing periodic cleaning, and organizing. Need to be highly motivated and able to work independently and with partner.
Requirements:
· Ability to work independently as well as with others.
· Willingness to be flexible to meet different departmental needs.
· Knowledge of safe handling and storage of chemicals and solvents (W.M.I.S)
· Ability to organize, prioritize and multitask efficiently as well as maintaining a disciplined level of confidentiality.
· Ability to meet the physical demands of this role. The successful candidate must be physically capable of performing repetitive tasks including lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, stooping, and walking for extended periods of time.
· Cleaning Residents rooms, and bathrooms as assigned. Washing walls, mirrors, sinks, floors, and other surfaces while maintaining infection control mandates.
· Cleaning building floors, sweeping, scrubbing, mopping, waxing (when needed), and vacuuming. Also polishing tables, chairs, desks, and all other furniture used in the building.
· Dust mechanical devices like monitors, desktops, printers, and any other devices.
· Maintain inventory of the contents of your supply carts, and to notice management when supplies need to be reordered.
· Make sure the waste bins are emptied and take to garbage bin.

Pay: From $21.81 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
