Job Overview:
Northern Pacific Aquaculture Support Inc. is currently seeking a motivated and hardworking individual to join our team as a bull cook/house cleaner. This is a camp setting and located in a floating house on the ocean. 8/6 shift, 10 hours per day. Starting rate is $25.00 per hour. (3 month probation period.) Averaging agreement and employment contract will be required. Previous camp experience is preferred. Fly in and out, meals provided while at site. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in meal preparation and cooking tasks, as well as maintaining a clean and organized living space for our guests.
Responsibilities:
Assist with meal preparation and cooking under the guidance of our head cook
Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, equipment, and utensils
Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors
Dust and polish furniture and fixtures
Empty trash and dispose of waste properly
Maintain a neat and tidy living environment for all residents
All laundry duties
Clean and sanitize bathrooms and all guest rooms
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a similar role is preferred
Food Safe certificate is preferred
Previous experience being on water-based accommodations is preferred
Ability to follow directions and work well as part of a team
Excellent communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to lift heavy objects and stand for extended periods of time.
