Job Description
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming home environment, while also providing attentive dog care and dog sitting. This position is ideal for someone who loves both maintaining a well-kept household and caring for pets.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily housekeeping duties, including cleaning, dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and organizing.
- Manage laundry, ironing, and linen care.
- Keep kitchen, bathrooms, and common areas spotless and well-stocked.
- Keep garden, BBQ and garage clean.
- Source, coordinate and supervise third-party vendors and contractors.
- Meet and greet guests.
- Care for the family dog, including feeding, walking, brushing, and playtime.
- Provide dog sitting for up to seven days, ensuring the pet is safe, healthy, and happy.
- Monitor dog’s well-being and report any changes in behavior or health.
- Handle errands and household supply restocking.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Previous experience in housekeeping for private homes.
- Proven experience caring for dogs.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Trustworthy, punctual, and dependable.
- Comfortable with physical tasks and working around pets.
Additional Information
- Part-time position (±32 hours per week, plus extra for overnight pet sitting).
- Required availability Monday to Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Flexibility required to dog sitting, with approximately 1 week's notice.
