Role Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Housekeeper to support daily housekeeping operations by maintaining guest rooms and common areas to a high standard of cleanliness and sanitation. The successful candidate will be responsible for cleaning assigned areas, restocking supplies, and ensuring a comfortable and hygienic environment for guests. This role requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to follow established cleaning procedures and schedules.
Job Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and assigned common areas according to company standards
- Change linens, make beds, and replenish guest amenities
- Vacuum, mop, dust, and disinfect surfaces
- Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
- Follow cleaning, sanitization, and health & safety procedures
- Ensure rooms are cleaned and ready within required timelines
- Handle guest requests related to room cleanliness in a polite and professional manner
- Properly use and store cleaning equipment and supplies
- Assist with laundry duties when required
- Maintain cleanliness of hallways, storage areas, and service areas
- Perform other housekeeping-related duties as assigned by management
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1–2 years of experience in housekeeping operations, preferably in a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
- Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience preferred (hotel/resort experience is an asset)
- Knowledge of basic cleaning and sanitation practices
- Ability to follow instructions and company procedures
- Strong attention to detail
- Good time-management skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physically able to perform housekeeping duties (standing, bending, lifting)
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays
- Basic communication skills for guest interaction
- Attention to detail and commitment to high cleanliness standards.

Pay: $17.60 per hour
