Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in residential settings, ensuring a welcoming and comfortable environment for our clients. The Housekeeper will perform various cleaning tasks, manage time effectively, and provide excellent customer service while communicating clearly in English.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
- Launder linens and towels, ensuring they are fresh and neatly presented.
- Organize and maintain cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring they are used safely and efficiently.
- Communicate with clients to understand their specific cleaning needs and preferences.
- Cook simple meals as requested by clients, adhering to dietary restrictions when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive to client requests and feedback.
- Manage time effectively to complete all tasks within designated schedules.
- Uphold high standards of hospitality by creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in the home.
Requirements
- Previous experience in residential cleaning or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication skills in English to interact with clients and understand their needs.
- Time management skills to ensure timely completion of all cleaning duties.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team when necessary.
- A positive attitude with a commitment to providing outstanding customer service.
- Physical stamina to perform cleaning tasks that may require standing for long periods or lifting light loads.
