Hours: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM (Monday: 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM, Tuesday: 6:30 AM – 11:30 AM, Wednesday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM, Thursday: 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM and Friday 6:30 AM – 4:30 PM)
Compensation: $30 per hour, Paid via W2 (On the books)
Additional Benefits: PTO, Sick leave, Car will be provided

A private family in Norwalk, CT is seeking a professional, reliable, and child-friendly Housekeeper to support the daily care and smooth operation of their home. This role is ideal for someone who is formal, polished, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a private household environment.
Main Work Duties:
- Perform detailed housekeeping and deep cleaning throughout the home
- Maintain bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living areas, and common spaces to a high standard
- Handle silver cleaning and proper care of fine household items
- Manage laundry care, including ironing and garment upkeep
- Assist with breakfast preparation and children’s meal preparation
- Provide light meal prep, including chopping fruits and vegetables and making juices
- Keep the kitchen clean and organized before and after meal preparation
- Drive children to and from school, activities, appointments, or other outings as needed
- Support the household with additional tasks as needed
Required Qualities:

- Child-friendly and comfortable around children
- Detail-oriented and thorough with housekeeping responsibilities
- Able to care for fine items, silver, clothing, and household surfaces properly
- Comfortable assisting with light cooking and meal preparation
- Safe and responsible driver
- Flexible and willing to help where needed
- Discreet and respectful of the family’s privacy
Requirements:
- Minimum 3+ solid years of housekeeping experience working in a private home.
- Excellent references from both current and previous employers.
- Ability to work independently.
- Must speak and be able to communicate well in English.
- Authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
- Valid Driver’s license and clean driving record.
Pay: $30.00 per hour
