Hotel Janitor – Full-Time (Winter) Jobs in Fernie at Resorts of the Canadian Rockies

We are looking to fill the position of Hotel Janitor at Fernie Alpine Resort. The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, be physically capable, and have excellent customer service skills. You Will:
Ensure a comfortable and friendly atmosphere for both guests and staff
Assist and upsell guests at every opportunity
Provide standard janitorial duties for common areas including interior windows, bathrooms, mopping, dusting, cleaning, vacuuming and garbage/recycling disposal and restocking
Provide housekeeping room attendant support as required
Provide laundry service support as required
Follow departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
Meetiguest requests in a timely and friendly manner
Ensure the highest level of service and guest experience
Provide non-stop teamwork with your teammates and managers
Perform other assigned duties as requested by management
Know and adhere to the policies, rules, and protocols outlined in the Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Employee Handbook
Know and follow all safe work procedures included in the Safety Management Program
Know and comply with all expectations of the Injury Management/Return-to-Work Programs
Perform other tasks and duties that are applicable
You Have:
Past experience – this is an asset but not required, we will train!
The ability to work independently and cooperatively in a team environment
The ability to be reliable and responsible
The ability to be physically capable with a customer service orientation
