Role and Facility Information
Cariboo Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Williams Lake is seeking a Hospitalist to join our team. You will work in the acute inpatient medicine setting and function in a MRP (most responsible physician) role for complex medical and co‑management of surgical patients, as well as palliative care. You will receive support from CMH specialists and family physicians. Working 8 hours a day you will see an average of 12-16 inpatients per shift.
The CMH Hospitalist program supports the complex and diverse medical needs of our patients in an environment that fosters collaboration among specialists. We are excited to add new graduates or experienced Hospitalists to our team.

Compensation
Compensation Type:
Clinical Service Contract. Estimated remuneration for a full‑time hospitalist: annual base income of $ ($200.10/hour). Up to an additional 40% is also available with group contract incentives. MOCAP level 2 and After Hours premiums are also provided. Physician overhead:
No overhead.
Benefits and Incentives
Eligible for additional remuneration in accordance with the Rural Subsidiary Agreement (RSA) including:
Retention premium 12.32%, retention flat fee $19,092, relocation funding available $9,000-$15,000, recruitment incentive $15,000 (based on 1.0 FTE). Rural incentives are subject to change; current rates are confirmed at the time of offer. Candidates with a BC or Canada student loan may be eligible for loan‑forgiveness programs for those living and working in a rural community.
