Home Health Clinical Manager – Registered Nurse Jobs in Orlando, FL at Gencare Kids
The Clinical Manager is responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining care processes that promote client satisfaction, regulatory compliance, and clinical excellence. This position serves as the first line of supervisory response to nurse issues and client concerns, ensuring that all plans of care are implemented, monitored, and evaluated to meet patient needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide daily oversight of homecare/PDN clients and nursing staff.
- Conduct interviews for nursing and support staff candidates to ensure the selection of qualified team members.
- Ensure all care plans are developed, implemented, and evaluated in alignment with patient goals, physician orders, and agency standards.
- Address and resolve nurse-related concerns and client complaints in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and agency regulations and participate in internal audits or quality assurance reviews.
- Support the orientation, supervision, and ongoing training of nursing staff.
- Facilitate effective communication between clients, families, nurses, and interdisciplinary healthcare providers.
- Provide family education and community resource guidance to support the care and well-being of medically fragile children.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with policy and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications, Education & Experience
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Florida (required).
- Associate degree or Diploma in Nursing (required)
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing or a related field (preferred)
- 3–5 years of clinical nursing experience with at least 1 year in pediatric care(required)
- Supervisory or case management experience in home health preferred
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of nursing educational assessments and staff learning strategies.
- Familiarity with Private Duty Nursing (PDN) care processes and homecare regulations (preferred).
- Knowledge of the Patient-Driven Goals Model (PDGM) (preferred).
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA and all organizational compliance standards.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in computer and EMR systems.
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay Range: $34.00 – $36.50 per hour (based on experience).
- Performance Bonus: Up to $16,000 annually.
